Upgrades Underway at MacMasters Beach RFB Station

May 19, 2026

Member for Terrigal Adam Crouch has welcomed the commencement of works on the MacMasters Beach Rural Fire Brigade Station upgrade, after long advocating for improved facilities.

The $2.08 million upgrade will deliver modern infrastructure to support RFS volunteers and enhance emergency response capability across the region.

Mr Crouch said he had been advocating for funding through successive government budgets and was pleased to see the project progressing.

“I, along with our community, welcome this $2.08 million investment in the upgrade of the MacMasters Beach Rural Fire Brigade Station,” said Mr Crouch.

“The existing station dates back to 1977 and while it’s served our community well, this upgrade is urgently needed given the significant bushfire risks we face each year.”

“I’ve been advocating for this upgrade for the past three years, so I’m pleased that funding has been delivered, and construction is now underway on this vital project.”

The upgrade will include a purpose-built extension integrated with the existing engine bay, including a new training space, amenities, office facilities as well as workshop and storage areas.
