Community Invited to Help Raise Funds for Breast Cancer Awareness Month

Oct 2, 2026

Member for Terrigal Adam Crouch is inviting the community to come together on Wednesday, 7 October for his Pink Ribbon Morning Tea, raising awareness and funds for breast cancer research during Breast Cancer Awareness Month.

The morning tea will feature a raffle and prizes, with locals encouraged to enjoy a cuppa, connect with others and support the vital work of the National Breast Cancer Foundation.

Mr Crouch said the cause was deeply personal following the loss of his wife to breast cancer in February 2024.

“Every day, 56 people in Australia are diagnosed with breast cancer and tragically 3,300 die from breast cancer every year,” Mr Crouch said.

“Behind every cancer diagnosis is someone who is loved, and a family whose lives are changed forever.”

“This morning tea is an opportunity to honour those we have lost, stand alongside those facing breast cancer and raise funds for the research that offers hope for so many.”

“Our community has an incredible capacity to come together and support a worthy cause, and I would love to see that generosity on display at my Pink Ribbon Morning Tea,” Mr Crouch said.

“Whether you join us for a cuppa, purchase a raffle ticket or make a donation, every contribution will help support breast cancer research.”

“Please join me on 7 October as we come together for everyone whose life has been touched by breast cancer.”
