Member for Terrigal Adam Crouch has noted yet another announcement for Empire Bay Drive.
“It’s now more than 19 months since the first announcement of $15 million dollars for a traffic study for Empire Bay Drive and now we have a reannouncement of the same project being made today,” Mr Crouch said.
“Let’s be very clear this is not new funding but an existing commitment by the Federal Albanese Government with not one dollar being provided by the NSW State Labor Government for Empire Bay Drive.’
“Given we are now less than 6 months out from the State election it is disappointing but not surprising that we are seeing more spin from the State Labor Government rather than any actual delivery or shovels in the ground.”
“This stands in stark contrast to the record delivery of road infrastructure by the former Liberal National State Government on the Central Coast.”
Mr Crouch said “Our community doesn’t need more spin or another reannouncement telling them the study for Empire Bay Drive is progressing; they need to see real delivery.”
