The 2026 Community Building Partnership (CBP) grant program is now open, with funding available for local community organisations and councils to deliver important infrastructure projects.
Member for Terrigal Adam Crouch is encouraging eligible groups to apply for grants ranging from $10,000 to $100,000 to support initiatives that strengthen the local community.
“Many of our fantastic community organisations across the Terrigal electorate have projects ready to go but just need a funding boost to get their initiative started,” Mr Crouch said.
“With expressions of interest open for the Community Building Grant program, now is the time to put forward your project.”
“This is a valuable program that helps deliver upgrades to local facilities, equipment and community spaces that people rely on every day.”
Funding can support a wide range of projects, including improvements to community halls, upgrades to local sporting facilities, enhancements to parks and public spaces, and the purchase of essential equipment for community groups.
Mr Crouch said this year’s program includes a new application approach, with an initial Expression of Interest stage forming part of the process.
“The new approach this year means that all organisations need to submit an Expression of Interest, the first step in applying for funding,”
“Take your time to understand the process and ensure your submission delivers benefits to the local community in line with the application criteria, including the Electoral district priorities.” he said.
Expressions of Interest close at 5:00pm, Friday 8 May 2026, and must be submitted in the electoral district where the project is located.
