I acknowledge the Hon. David Harris’ service to the people of Wyong and the Central Coast following his announcement that he will retire at the 2027 state election.
Despite our political differences, David and I have worked together over the years to achieve better outcomes for our region and have always maintained a friendly and productive working relationship.
David has dedicated much of his working life to public service, first in education and then through his years in Parliament. I acknowledge his contribution and the commitment that public life requires of both members and their families.
I wish David well, and extend my best wishes to him, Sherelle and their daughters on their future endeavours.
