More Bushfire Recovery Support for the Central Coast

Bushfire-affected areas of the Central Coast will be able to rebuild and recover thanks to an immediate payment of $100,000 from the NSW Government to Central Coast Council.

Parliamentary Secretary for the Central Coast and Member for Terrigal Adam Crouch said Mangrove Mountain and the surrounding area was impacted by the Three Mile Fire in December.

“The immediate payment of $100,000 is intended to be quick and flexible in order to kickstart the social and economic recovery of areas like Mangrove Mountain,” Mr Crouch said.

25 new Classrooms open at Terrigal and Wamberal

Tools down has been called and construction at Terrigal and Wamberal Public Schools has been completed in time for day one of the 2020 school year.

 

Parliamentary Secretary for the Central Coast and Member for Terrigal Adam Crouch said major infrastructure upgrades have resulted in 10 new classrooms at Terrigal and 15 new classrooms at Wamberal.

 

“These 25 new classrooms at Terrigal and Wamberal Public Schools will future-proof our local education facilities for years to come,” Mr Crouch said.

Regional Seniors Travel Card arrives on the Central Coast

From Wednesday, senior citizens across regional NSW can apply for the NSW Government’s $250 Regional Seniors Travel Card.

 

Parliamentary Secretary for the Central Coast and Member for Terrigal Adam Crouch said the Regional Seniors Travel Card is an election commitment that aims to ease the burden of travel costs.

Community Feedback sought on Airport Review

The NSW Government is calling on the community to provide its feedback as part of an independent review into legislation governing Warnervale Airport.

 

Parliamentary Secretary for the Central Coast and Member for Terrigal Adam Crouch said the review of the Warnervale Airport (Restrictions) Act (1996) will consider the best way to regulate the Airport into the future.

 

“Warnervale Airport is an important regional asset and feedback from the community will play an important role in determining its future,” Mr Crouch said.

Site Work starts on Train Station Upgrades

Early site investigations to help inform the concept design for accessibility upgrades at four Central Coast stations will start this week, Parliamentary Secretary for the Central Coast and Member for Terrigal Adam Crouch has announced.

 

The upgrades will deliver the NSW Government’s election commitment to install lifts at Tuggerah, Ourimbah, Lisarow, Niagara Park and Narara, as well as up to 220 car park spaces at Tuggerah.
