Terrigal Electorate residents are encouraged to celebrate the positive role seniors play in the community by nominating them for the 2025 Local Seniors Award.
Member for Terrigal Adam Crouch said the festival and the awards celebrate the immense contributions and achievements of seniors in the community.
“This annual festival is about celebrating the positive impact of older people in our families and society.”
“If you know a senior who helps make our community diverse, inspiring and active, then I encourage you to nominate them for acknowledgement of their contribution to our community,” Mr Crouch said.
Nominations are now open for the Terrigal Local Seniors Award, with winners of the awards to be announced during the NSW Seniors Festival which runs from 11 – 24 March. Nominations close on Monday, 3rd of March.
“By highlighting seniors’ continued efforts in helping our region thrive, we are continuing to challenge ageism and empower seniors to overcome social stigmas,” Mr Crouch said.
